Tucked away on Sunset Blvd. off Beaudry Ave in Echo Park sits The Warehouse, a vintage clothing, accessories, furniture & housewares store, art studio, and gallery all in one. This unique space is like nothing you have ever seen before, with friendly staff, great prices (I scored a pair of tweed trousers for $25!) and beautiful pieces, it's absolutely worth the trek up to Los Angeles to see this gem for yourself.
New pieces arrive in the store weekly and are carefully hand selected by owner Justin Warwick. And the best part? EVERYTHING you see is for sale, even the light fixtures. It's impossible to walk out the door empty handed.
A real standout was their caftan collection, which completely blew my mind with so many beautiful textures, prints and colors.
And don't forget about the guys, The Warehouse also carries an equal selection of clothing for men, as well as smaller wares like tie clips and cufflinks. They even offer in store alterations!
Along with the stellar vintage collections, they also feature work of local artists. The local community is a huge component of The Warehouse, it is truly a place for members to gather together and to celebrate and share their talents.
But wait, there's more!
The Warehouse hosts weekly classes through The Classroom, another project Justin began with Kelsey Wintringham, including terrarium building, mixology, tarot reading, sewing and more. A full list of classes offered and times can be seen at www.THECLASSROOMLA.com.
The Loft, a new addition to The Warehouse is tucked in the back left corner as you enter. This new space is viewed by appointment only and homes one of the most amazing vintage collections I have ever seen. Unfortunately nothing in here is currently for sale and is reserved for stylist pulls, but a girl can dream right? I was lucky enough to step inside and see some of the garments up close. A suede Prada top, a D&G shag coat, and a tiger hide jacket were just some of the highlights...talk about a dream wardrobe.

Lastly, recently opened eleven97 is the new gallery space located inside The Warehouse currently featuring artist Joshua Mark Logan's Bald Eagles. This exhibit will end November 21st, but the eleven97 will continue to showcase emerging talent in Los Angeles, it is guaranteed to be a must see!
So if you love vintage clothing, accessories, furniture, wares, art or DIY classes, The Warehouse is the place for you! The only downside? The small and steep parking lot, but there is plenty of nearby street parking so you won't be lugging all your treasures too far. The Warehouse really does have something for everyone, and I can promise you won't be able to visit just once. Happy shopping!!
You can find them at 1197 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90012
