Skylark

Skylark is nestled in comfortably on the always charmingly offbeat Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice Beach.  It's a treat even strolling along the Blvd, just wait until you get inside.  The vintage clothing/footwear boutique has something for all walks of life. They carry miscellaneous valuables from here to------------------------------------------------> there, as well as eclectic goods handcrafted by local designers and artists.  Along with the one-of-a-kind vintage items, Skylark's gimmick is all about supporting Southern California's own homegrown talent.

Drenched in jewelry, Skylark will provide exactly what you're neck/wrists/ears/fingers are lacking.  Unless you're about to encounter an airport security check in a rush, I highly recommend buying multiples at these prices.

Check out the pendants by Venice artist AMMOLETS.  Made from recycled bullets with love. The cast pendants range from cracker jack toys to sparrow skulls made from melted down bullet casings. The crystals come in different sizes with stones including quartz, jade, and turquoise.  Support LOCAL talent !

Once you're cozied up inside this gem, you'll discover nooks and crannies worth of treasures, like this vintage cookbook collection hiding underneath these radical boots.  X-mas is basically knocking on your front door... or more likely, texting you, so grab some goods for grandma! Or your groupies... whatever works.

His and Hers flannels.  Win-Win.

I'm not one to pick favorites, however, the thing that really gets my blood pumping is the vintage boot COLLECTION.  Yes, it deserves caps lock.  It's a sight for sore eyes & feet.

So at this point, it's pretty obvious that you'd like to take your next paycheck on an outing at Skylark.  Here's how to find them:

P.S. - Every first friday of the month features gourmet food trucks invading Abbot Kinney Blvd along with sales galore.  Hurry up December!
