Make Collectives

Nestled in the Arts District of Downtown Long Beach is one of the best kept secrets in this wonderful city I call home, Make Collectives. This family owned and operated shop is a place to find unique  housewares, furniture & decor at incredibly reasonable prices. Their sister store, La Femme Vintage, also shares the space and carries insanely beautiful garments and accessories.

Each piece is carefully hand selected by husband and wife team Matt and Kat, and everything you see is for sale! Make Collectives is an eclectic space where you can find something for everyone. This husband & wife team truly have impecable taste that transcends eras or styles.

How cute are these jars for your kitchen?

The store also carried homemade soy candles by LABumbleBee that smell absolutely heavenly.

There are so many adorable owls hidden all around the store, how cute are these small salt and pepper shakers?

For those of you who collect vinyl, their stash is a must see. The prices are cheap and the selection is fantastic. There is no way you're leaving without one...

Whether you are shopping for your bedroom, dining room, living room, or kitchen, there is something at Make Collectives for you. With such a special selection of home decor and furnishings, you are guaranteed to find pieces you will cherish and won't be able to find anywhere else.

The other half of the store is dedicated to Le Femme, a beautiful collection of hand picked vintage pieces. The garments are always perfectly on trend, unique and so well priced!

They carry a great selection of dresses for every occasion!

La Femme has a cabinet full of amazing designer bags, including several Chanel pieces that will leave you drooling.

Make Collectives also features jewelry made by local artist Paper Bird Creations, including customer stamped pieces. You can also find her on etsy.

But wait...there's more!

La Femme carries Love Birds Los Angeles pouches and clutches. These colorful bags are handmade in Los Angeles using bright ethnic patterns that are absolute show stoppers and will have everyone asking "Where did you get that bag?!"

Make Collectives is a one of a kind store filled with love and inspiration and one I can promise you will be visiting again and again.

Head on down at the end of each week to see the new merchandise as it rolls out, but act quick, such great pieces never last for long...
